Beginning last December, Xiaomi launched duo Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus phones that carry a thin-framed screen with 18: 9 aspect ratio.

Redmi 5 which has a 5.7 inch screen and priced Rp 1.6 million to Rp 1.8 million has a Snapdragon 450 chip, 2 or 3 GB RAM, and 16 GB or 32 GB of storage media.

This month, Xiaomi secretly inaugurated Redmi 5 with a higher specification. Redmi 5 variant is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage media.

The official price of Redmi 5 Plus is set from Rp 2 million to Rp 2.6 million. There is no information when Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will begin to be marketed in Indonesia. However, had circulated information both will begin to enter the global market in mid-February.
